All The Walls Came Down
All the Walls Came Down follows filmmaker Ondi Timoner as she bears witness to the destruction of her own community in the 2025 LA fires. Turning the camera inward, she captures Altadena not at its lowest point, but at its most alive — a neighborhood shattered by climate catastrophe and held together by something no fire could touch.
The main on end lives in the charged space between destruction and renewal. A dark, textural world of deep charcoal and burnt earth, fire particles drifting upward. Elements of water ripple over the tin type photograph, evoking a sense of hope and tension simultaneously.
